class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>On the closing date for applications, applicants must meet the following conditions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have been awarded a <strong>doctoral degree<\/strong>, or have evidence of having successfully defended their doctoral thesis without having been formally awarded the degree yet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have <strong>published their research<\/strong> in an international peer-reviewed journal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity in France for more than 12 months during the 3 years preceding the deadline for applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The specific situation of applicants who may have experienced career interruptions due to parental leave or prolonged illness will be taken into account in the evaluation of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants are expected to propose a post-doctoral research project with <strong>freedom of choice in its specifics, as long as it is in line with one or more of the main research areas<\/strong> of the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unsuccessful candidates, with high ranking position, will be offered the opportunity to join a CV library opened to research laboratories, private companies and business
